Indian Residential Schools The Sisters of Saint Ann have transferred all of their archives to the Royal BC Museum (RBCM). They hold no records at this time. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between The Sisters of Saint Ann and the Royal BC Museum and BC Archives in February of 2022, wherein the physical custody of the SSA Archives transferred to the BC Archives. The formal deed of gift was signed by The Sisters of Saint Ann in June 2023, and the ownership of the historical records of SSA was transferred to the Royal BC Museum. The Sisters of Saint Ann no longer holds any historical records. The Royal BC Museum has been working with Indigenous communities throughout BC to ensure access to these records are accessible and timely.
