Trafficking in Women and Children

photoSince 2003, the Sisters of Saint Anne have been working against trafficking in women and children, in cooperation with other religious orders in Quebec. You may remember the play presented by Théâtre Parminou, "Lost in Traffic", and the information sent out by the provinces' justice committees as well as by the Office. This flows from a decision made by the IUSG to fight trafficking in women and children. If all the religious orders in the world worked together towards this same goal, surely it would make a difference.

Le CATHII, an action committee against international and domestic human traffic, works with other organizations to coordinate an action plan. Denise Caron, s.s.a., coordinator of the Social Justice Office, and Diane Boudreault are members of this committee. To find out more, read the following story of alliances!
