The Sisters of Saint Anne are committed to following Christ in the manner of the "holy women of the Gospel" and to serving Him by participating in His mission as educators. They want to be a prophetic presence to transform all that threatens life in order to create a more just and caring world. The congregation was founded in Vaudreuil (Quebec) by Esther Blondin (Mother Marie Anne) in 1850.
